The McEachern Lady Indians capped off a stretch of six games over six days with a dominating 96-33 victory over region foe Osborne to improve to 7-7 on the season. Osborne’s only lead of the game came on the opening possession for a 2-0 advantage, from there McEachern used a 16-0 run to seize control and never looked back.
Eleven Lady Indians scored in the victory with Victoria Agyin putting in a team-high 19 points off the bench. Lyndsey Whilby had 13 while Jada Lewis, Que Morrison and Kemia Ward each scored 10 for McEachern.
The unranked Lady Indians return to action this week with region road games at Kennesaw Mountain and North Paulding.
In Boys action No.6 McEachern (10-2) defeated Osborne 81-64. Tied at 26 in the second quarter, McEachern finished the quarter on a 14-3 run over the final 4:57 for a 40-29 halftime lead. Osborne never threatened again as AJ Jones finished with a game-high 17 points (all in the first half) for McEachern.
