Cedar Shoals Wins Thomas’ 100th Game

Cedar Shoals (12-2) defeated Strom Thurmond (SC) 67-43 in the Sweet South Classic in Madison, Ga. Cedar Shoals broke open a six-point game at halftime outscoring Strom Thurmond 19-4 in the third quarter.

Snipe Hall put in 15 points while Phal Fleming finished with 12 points and 8 rebounds.

The Jaguars win earned head coach L’Dreco Thomas his 100th victory. Thomas, in his sixth season, has won two region championships and reached the Final Four last season. Cedar Shoals is currently ranked No.6 in Georgia 5A.

Cedar Shoals will face Southwest Atlanta Christian Tuesday afternoon. SWAC (8-4) is led by highly-touted junior De’Andre Ballard. Ballard is averaging over 24 points a game.
