McEachern Falls 16 Spots In Latest National Rankings ; Wheeler Falls 3 Spots

The McEachern Lady Indians (10-2) suffered a 45-43 lost to Liberty (Frisco, TX) last week in the Sandra Meadows Classic in Duncanville, TX then came home and suffered a 74-70 set back to Osborne. Entering the tournament McEachern was ranked No.1 in the Max Preps Xcellent 25. The latest ranking are out and the Lady Indians fell 16 spots to No.17 after the loss.

The out-of-state schedule is complete for the defending Georgia 6A state champions with only a non-region game remaining against 2A title contender Holy Innocents at Archer high school in mid-January. McEachern had two scheduled games in Florida  cancelled leaving a hole in their strength of schedule.

McEachern returns to action today against region opponent Kennesaw Mountain.

The Wheeler Wildcats (13-1) fell 3 spots from No.2 to No.5 after suffering 70-62 loss to West Linn (OR). Wheeler returns to action tuesday against on the road at region opponent Pope (13-1).
