Robinson’s Triple-Double Leads McEachern Past Forest Park

The Georgia 6A defending state champions are off to a 2-0 start after a 40-point victory over Forest Park 73-33 at Parkview on Monday night.

Caliya Robinson showed last season she had a knack for filling up the box score tallying multiple double-doubles and at least four triple-doubles. Robinson notched her first triple-double of the 2014-15 season tonight with 21 points, 16 rebounds and 12 blocks in the win over Forest Park.

Tennessee-commit Te’a Cooper finished with 16 points, 12 assists and 5 steals, Jada Lewis and Tierra Lindsey each had 10 points.

McEachern (2-0) will face Parkview tonight at Parkview high school. McEachern is the defending Georgia 6A state champion and has won two of the last three state championships in Georgia’s highest class.
