The McEachern Lady Indians survived a key region road game against Campbell overcoming a 34-22 deficit at halftime to win 59-58 on Tuesday. McEachern used the power of the long ball on the evening as Freshmen Jada Lewis and senior Keiwanna Patterson combined for nine of McEachern’s ten three-pointers on the night.
Lewis led all McEachern scorers with 22 points (six three-pointers) and Patterson finished with 11 points (three three-pointers) while sophomore point guard Te’a Cooper chipped in 6 points.
While McEachern shot 52% (10-19) from beyond the arc, they struggled from the foul line shooting a woeful 33% going 7-21.
The Lady Indians will host North Cobb while Campbell will travel to Hillgrove on Friday Jan. 11th. North Cobb defeated McEachern earlier this season 59-47 and Campbell fell 56-54 to Hillgrove in their previous meeting.
