Football Camp On American Soil Very Special For A Select Few

Balboa Academy in Panama arranged  four football players to attend The Blue Chip Football Camp at LaGrange College in LaGrange, GA last month. This would not be just your summer football camp trip. These players aren’t highly recruited or getting invited to high-profile camps to showcase their talents, however the experience of continuing to learn the game and take that knowledge back to their native land and continue to grow the game of American football there.

Balboa Academy, ISP, St. Marys and AIP Academy are planning on  sending more players to the Blue Chip Football Camp at LaGrange College in 2013.

Reinhart University, Coastal Carolina, LaGrange College, Morehead State and Louisburg (NC) Junior College each showed interest in each of the Panamanian players, with kicker Dominik Friedrichs drawing the most attention with his booming kicks during the camp.

Total Sports Coverage  received late word of these players attending this camp and were unable to attend but we were able to speak with them moments before they would leave to return home about their experience at the camp.

  1. I think these kids are doing their best presentation overseas, they had learned so much from their camp Blue Chip and certainly will bring a difference experience at their native country and their future.

  2. congratulations to all concerned—you represented Panama very well and made a good impression. You have paved the way for other potential football players
